NPS: Monarch Tagging at North Kingsville Sand Barrens

 

Join Judy Semroc, naturalist with the Cleveland Museum of Natural History, as she leads this hike to look at meadow insects, tag monarch butterflies, and record monarch butterfy information at the Cleveland Museum of Natural History preserve. Weather dependent. Check website for weather cancellation.
No registration is required for this program.

Directions: GPS: 41° 54' 28.4" N, 80° 41' 28.9" W
Take I-90 to the Route 193 exit. Follow Route 193 north to US Route 20 east. Take US Route 20 east to Poore Road. Travel north on Poore Road to the Conrail tracks. The preserve is on the west side of Poore Road just north of the railroad tracks. There is a sign located at the entrance.
