88 acre preserve (formerly Dike 14) owned by Cuyahoga County Port Authority

This is a fascinating site to see up close.  From 1979 to 1999, material dredged from the Cuyahoga River bottom was deposited on this site.  Wendy Weirich of Cleveland MetroParks will lead this program to see what plants have made their way to this site via wind, animal, or in the material dredged from the river.

Directions:  Located where Martin Luther King Jr. Drive meets I-90.  Follow the signs to the Cleveland Lakefront Office.  We will meet in the parking lot of the Cleveland Lakefront Office.
