Ferns and Wetland Flora of Snow Lake
View emergent marshes, shrub swamps, vernal pools and open water. Wetlands abound at the recently opened Nature Conservancy Lucia S. Nash Preserve.
Registration is required for this program and limited.
Discover the amazing diversity of flora in these wetlands including several species of ferns and possible sand hill crane sightings. The hike is approximately 1-1/2 miles on dry level ground.

16429 Snow Rd. East off Rt 44, north of Stafford Rd. (look for the large preserve sign at the entrance).
Meet in the parking lot.
Update: Using GPS may/may not be effective. There were destination problems in the past when using GPS. Folks were directed 1/3 mile away from the actual park location. Google Maps now has a registered point for Lucia S. Nash Preserve. Google Maps appears to have corrected the issue, but be cautious.
